This spring 2024 I got a new scholarship during my culture studies. Previously, I had had the opportunity to go to Florence and the Uffizi galleries in the practical field of culture. Now, an opportunity opened up to return to the same department of the Uffizi to write my master’s thesis. The stay at the museum meant also collaboration with the Cultural mediation and Accessibility department, in carrying out eductional activities for school and persons with disabilities based on a multisensorial approach. It also included a commission to design fragrances inspired for world-famous paintings. One artwork in particular was selected for the project, La Primavera by Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510). The material were tested during the educational activities at the department of the Uffizi Gallery, and it was at the same time a privilege and huge honor, to do this as a task. The knowledge about the educational approach used by the department, together with the direct experience in designing multisensorial tools for eductional purpose, has been more than a meaningful work! Now the projects seems to continue. Thank you for letting me take part of this study!
